Our little weekend ideas

“A relaxed and easy beach get away weekend”

Friday Night

Have a meal and salad prepared freshly from our Wexford Tasting Menu ready for you in your cottage on your arrival.

Saturday

Start the day with a walk on the beach and relax for the morning with the newspaper and coffee. Have a game of Tennis or practice your irons on the pitch and putt course for the afternoon.

Have our chef deliver supper to your door and have a pre dinner drink in the garden or by the open fire.

Sunday

Have a late brunch and read of the Sunday newspapers delivered to your door on Sunday mornings.

We are under an hour and a half from most parts of Dublin so organise a late stay with us, have a walk on the beach in the afternoon and still arrive home relaxed and easy on Sunday night.

Horse Riding on the beach

“An active beach get away weekend”

Friday Night

Have supper ready in your cottages when you arrive.  Have a pint in the local pub or relax in the house or the garden with friends and a glass of wine.

Saturday

Have your expedition planned and ready to go for the Saturday – Clay Pigeon Shooting, Kayaking on the Slaney, Fishing off Kilmore or a trip along the coast to see the seals in Spring on Ronay Point. Go Horse Riding on the beach if you feel very adventurous. We can help you with the organisation of all.

Kayak

Have Dinner ready and delivered to your cottage from our Wexford Tasting menu for your arrival home.

Have a taxi ready to bring you into Wexford or to take you to one of the local pubs. The area still has some country genuine “shop pubs” which are great fun and a still a taste of old Ireland.

Sunday

Read the papers in the morning and play a game of tennis or head to Curracloe for a walk to Ravens point which can be spectacular.

Finish with a late lunch. Our chef’s supper usually provides enough for lunch or brunch the next day with very little additional food or cooking.

Relax for the drive home – Dublin is only an hour away and you will still feel refreshed by the time you arrive home.
