Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all our valued customers when booking a holiday with Wexford Beach Homes.

All our properties are approved and registered by Failte Ireland, the Irish Tourist Board, which means they must reach a degree of excellence. All our properties have been awarded the top 4 star accreditation awarded by the Irish Tourist Board.

Facilities in your property:

Fresh linen and towels are supplied in all of our properties and are included in the price.

Housekeeping:

We meet all our guests personally on arrival. In addition our client relation’s manager is available to help you with any queries you might have and to facilitate the enjoyment of your holiday should you need it.

We are available all day to meet and greet you on arrival, and check you out on departure. Please let us know if you will be arriving late or if your plane or ferry has been delayed so that we can leave the heat on for you, arrange time to greet you, show you your property and give you your keys.

You will also find a folder in your property that contains useful hints and tips about how things work, local information on activities and amenities in your area.

Arrival and Check Out Times

Normal arrival time, especially in peak periods is after 16.00 hours on the date of arrival.

Normal Check out times is by 10 am on the day of departure.

Early arrival and late check out may be arranged in prior consultation with Wexford Beach Homes. We will do all we can to facilitate our guests in this respect.

House cleaning

We do ask that you leave the property in a tidy condition the morning of your departure. Final cleaning is included in the rental charge, however a charge of €40 would be levied if the property is not returned in a tidy condition.

As insurance against damage or breakage in the property an additional charge may be levied, with your consent, upon departure. We do not deduct the cost of a minor breakage such as a glass or teacup – rather because of the quality of the furnishings it is used if there is a major spillage or burns to furniture or fittings which require repair or cleaning. Any charge is always with prior consultation with our guests.

Utility Charges:

There is an extra charge in all cases for gas central heating and electricity. We take a reading for both gas and electricity at the beginning of your stay and on your departure.

As an average guide to the cost of gas and electricity the approximate total cost for ‘gas and electricity’ for a week booking is as follows:

  • €5per day June/July/August
  • €8per day rest of the year.

Houses with Open Fires:

The majority of our properties have open fires. Where this is the case the first supply of fuel is supplied free of charge (i.e. logs and firelighters) and thereafter is available locally at cost. This is usually €3 per bale of briquettes, €14 per bag of coal.

2 Person discount

Our 2-person discount offer applies between 1 Jan to 28 May and 11 Sept to 17 December and excludes bank holidays.

The NUMBER OF PERSONS stated on the reservation form must not be exceeded without first notifying Wexford Beach Homes and in all cases the number of persons advertised as being sleeping capacity of the property must not be exceeded under any circumstances.

Booking requirements

Bookings will not be accepted by persons under 18 years of age. Bookings will not be accepted for groups where the average age of the party is under 23.

Pets:

We do accept pets. However we also keep a number of houses pet free to accommodate for clients with allergies. If you have such an allergy please specify when booking.

Children are very welcome:

Self-catering holidays are particularly suitable for families and all of our properties are suitable for children. All our properties also have enclosed gardens to make them as child friendly as possible. We do supply travel cots and high chairs on request at all properties but please note that cot linen is NOT provided.

Properties suitable for disabled:

Due to the split-level nature of our properties they are unfortunately not suitable some disabilities. Please call us for any clarification with respect to suitability.

Refunds and cancellations

A non-refundable booking deposit of €200 per house booked plus €15 handling fee is required to reserve accommodation. An automatic email invoice will be sent to customers straight away confirming payment of deposit and details of the Holiday.

The balancing payment for the holiday will automatically be deducted from the same credit card used to process the booking deposit 6 weeks prior to arrival unless the customer expressly notifies Wexford Beach Homes as to cancellation or alternative payment method.

For bookings made within 4 weeks of the date of arrival full payment of the holiday is required

A higher booking deposit may be required for groups reserving more than 2 cottages.

In the event of changing dates on a firm reservation, an administration charge of €20 per booking will apply.

Cancellations policy

Notice of CANCELLATIONS must be in writing. The following charges will then apply: Please note the booking deposit is non refundable.

Late Cancellations on all reservations

Where balance has been paid refunds apply as follows:

  • Up to 3 weeks before date of arrival 50% of balance paid excluding the booking deposit is refundable
  • Up to 2 weeks before date of arrival date 20% of balance paid excluding the booking deposit is refundable
  • Up to 1 week before the date of arrival 10% of the balance paid excluding the booking deposit is refundable

Termination of rental

Rental of the property may be terminated with no refund at the discretion of Wexford Beach Homes if clients/occupiers behave in a disruptive manner, cause a nuisance or disturbance, cause damage to the property or in any other circumstance which is deemed unreasonable by Wexford Beach Homes.
