Come to County Wexford over the sea to a different land

Wexford HurlingIn Wexford you will find the pace of life is a little slower and relaxed. Roads are quieter and the hedgerows triumphant -a froth of green and yellow, purple and blue. Where the air is fragrant with the perfume of Hawthorn and Gorse and where lazy cows doze in the fields. Where the towns feel like villages and where there is always time for a chat and a smile.

From the comfort of your cottage the beach, a lake or a beautiful river is never far away and small roads lead to almost deserted sea stretches and tiny harbors.

Where music and story telling are threaded through life and are always just a pulse away.

Coming to Ireland is an adventure

Begin your holiday with the adventure of a boat journey across the Irish Sea or take a direct flight to Dublin or Waterford from one of the many UK airports with direct flights.

When you are here do as the Irish do:

– Go to Wexford races and have a bet on the horses.
– Have a glass of Guinness watching the sunset over Cahore Pier.
– Ride a horse or catch a fish off the shore at Morris Castle.
– Go and experience the energy and raw excitement of a Hurling match in the local Buffers Alley club.
– Bring your binoculars and watch the little terns nesting on the beach near Ballinoulart.
– Take the children crab fishing off Cahore harbour and have a pint of Guiness as the sun sets over the pier.
– Tell your story when the stick stops with you in a story telling session in Ballyduff.
– Set dance in the local pub in the village or just sit in a sheltered pocket on the beach and listen to the larks.
