The National Library is an 18 th century building centrally located just beside Dail Eireann which houses the worlds largest collection of Irish manuscripts. Many of Irelands literary figures would have spent time there. They host many interesting exhibitions and the staff are wonderfully helpful friendly and encouraging even for the most obscure requests.

The National Library website is Dublin is a 1.5 hour journey from Morriscastle.
